Acceptable Identity Documents in Croatia

We might ask you to confirm your identity by providing a government-issued ID and a selfie. You can easily upload your ID directly to your Trustap profile.

Acceptable forms of identification in Croatia:

 

• Hrvatska putovnica (Passport)
• Vozačka dozvola (Driver's license)
• Osobna iskaznica (ID card) - scans of front and back are required
• Dozvola boravka (Resident Permit)

Unless explicitly noted, only a scan of the front of the document is required.

The photograph or scan must be a JPEG or PNG file smaller than 10 MB. PDF files can't be verified. The files should be in colour, rotated with the image right-side up and have all information clearly legible. 

Depending on the situation, we might also need to collect the scan of an address document. This can happen if we cannot verify your identity based on the information and documentation already provided. We understand that these requests can be inconvenient and we don't take them lightly. If you are prompted to provide proof of address, make sure to submit a different document than the one you submitted as proof of identity.
