Acceptable Identity Documents in Malaysia

We might ask you to confirm your identity by providing a government-issued ID and a selfie. You can easily upload your ID directly to your Trustap profile.

Acceptable forms of identification in Malaysia:

• Kad Pengenalan / MyKad (Identity Card)
• Pasport (Passport)
• Lesen Memandu (Driving Licence)

Unless explicitly noted, only a scan of the front of the document is required.

The photograph or scan must be a JPEG or PNG file smaller than 10 MB. PDF files can't be verified. The files should be in colour, rotated with the image right-side up and have all information clearly legible.
