1. Why do I need a linked bank account?
To receive your funds from a completed transaction, you need a bank account linked to your Trustap profile. Without one, Trustap cannot process your payout.
You can add or update your bank details at any time in the Payout Details section of your My Profile page.
If you haven't completed your Trustap seller profile yet, see How do I add or update my seller profile and payout information on Trustap? before adding your bank account.
2. Supported account types
Trustap supports a range of bank account types for payouts, including:
- Traditional current and savings accounts from established banks
- Virtual bank accounts, such as N26, Revolut, and Wise
Debit card payouts are not currently supported.

4. Transacting in multiple currencies
If you sell across borders, it's useful to understand how Trustap handles currency differences between your account and your bank.
Receiving funds in a non-primary currency
If you receive funds in a currency other than your primary currency — for example, EUR when your account is registered in GBP — Trustap will hold those funds until a matching bank account is available for payout. To receive these funds automatically, register a bank account with a settlement currency that matches the transaction currency. Currency conversion fees may apply.
If you don't have a bank account in the required currency, contact our Support Team and we'll explore whether a payout to your existing account is possible. Please note that non-local settlement fees may apply. These fees are set by Stripe and vary depending on your country of registration and your bank account's settlement currency.
