If the buyer lodges a complaint about the item that the seller believes is fraudulent, or if the Trustap team needs to investigate the transaction against fraud, it is the seller’s responsibility to prove that the transaction is genuine to Trustap. There are several actions Trustap recommends the seller should take to do this:
Take pictures of the item before shipping.
Have a record of the receipt received from the courier company.
Record any communication with the buyer.
- Obtain and retain a confirmation of the handover to the buyer before confirming it in the App.
Trustap may ask the Seller to provide any such information through the course of the transaction, to guarantee the safety of this transaction.
