To ensure your Irish seller account remains active and eligible for payouts through Trustap and Stripe, you must provide specific information for verification. This process helps prevent financial abuse and complies with Irish regulations.
Below is a breakdown of the requirements based on your account type.
Important note
| Buyers are not required to provide this information. Only sellers must provide this information to enable payouts to their bank account. |
Standard verification requirements
Stripe first attempts to verify your details automatically. You must provide the following:

- Bank account Details: IBAN, currency and country of the bank account
Note for sole traders

If you're an Irish sole trader or sole proprietor, you should register your business as an Individual. In Stripe, sole proprietors are treated as individuals for account setup purposes, even if you operate under a business name. You will be asked to provide your personal details and, if applicable, information about your business name. If you already registered as a Business and wish to change your account to Individual, contact us for assistance. |
For business accounts:
- Company representative: Legal name, email, date of birth, and home address of the person acting for the business.
- Company details: Legal business name, company registration number (CRN), and business address.
- Ownership: Names, emails, and positions of all directors, shareholders, and Beneficial Owners (individuals owning or controlling 25% or more of the business).
- Bank Details: IBAN, currency and country of the business bank account.
